Poetry

Not only for me,

Autumn approaching not.

hearing the chirring,

moved to just,

to be remained alone.

Wondering whether or not, doth not he come.

To higurashi lay

In the end of the day

Awaiting for, stood and not still.

Gust over the lea, rush to dreadful bitter,

Same as a autumn hagi, soon to fade,

Also, Heart and mind.

These are quite old Japanese verse. I do not know why the scholars who study our country’s old verse, will not learn English old verse. It is beyond my understanding.
